I have a small tinnie and was wondering what sounder/fish finder to get, mainly fish freshwater around Camden but was also thinking of taking it down the gong or something

buy a brand name and spend what you can on a good one. go to the stores and play with the ones on dsply............

it all comes down to your budget on how much you want to spend
as mentioned stick to brand names try for a coloured screen so much better to see in day light

i have the lowerance hds5 & its a brillant unit for what i want to use for

good luck with your purchase
