Just started using beetle spins with Slider grubs; No. 1 beetle spin with 2gm No 4 hook jighead 1.5 - 2 inch Sliders in rivers; and No. 2 beetle spin with 2gm or 3gm No 2 hook jighead with 3inch Sliders in dams. Any comments or suggestions as to suitability for these situations ? Or other combinations of sizes etc. for better hookups would be most appreciated.

Cheers,
Ric

Love using them. Been using the Pontoon 21 Awaruna placcie. Its tail puts out a nice big thump thump.

Tie them directly on, when you use them with a snap they tend to propeller instead of travelling straight.

#3 Betty, 1/12 or 1/8 head, no 1 or 2 hook, 2.5 inch paddle tail brand doesn't matter

I use no. 3 beetle spins with #4 jigheads with micro minnows on them early in the season, works for me :-)
