Does anyone know if SSC were always made in China? As I've heard a lot of them are spitting.Has anyone else experienced this?

Had the exact same thing happen to a few of my SSC. Pretty average considering you pay near on $30 a pop.
Still an awesome lure though

Not sure if they have always been made in China but i've had the same problem with them splitting in front of the wings with new ones and ones bought over 12 months ago. I've just tried to fix one with a bit of liquid nails but haven't field tested it yet. Looks OK though..
